Late Afternoon Pick-Up & Drive to the Husky Farm
Your Arctic evening begins with pick-up from your hotel or chalet, followed by a scenic drive deep into Lapland’s snowy wilderness. Watch as forests turn blue in the fading light and your guide shares insights into the husky tradition and the conditions for tonight’s potential Northern Lights display.
The destination is a remote husky kennel, far from city lights—perfect for both adventure and skywatching.
Meet the Huskies & Prepare for the Safari
At the farm, you’ll be greeted by the excited barks and wagging tails of your eager husky team.
After a safety and steering briefing, you’ll be introduced to the sled and dogs—learning their names, personalities, and the incredible endurance that makes them ideal Arctic companions.
You may have the chance to drive your sled or ride as a passenger behind your guide (based on tour setup and preference).
Twilight Husky Ride Through the Forest
With twilight descending, set off into the hushed wilderness.

After the ride, warm up inside a traditional Lappish kota, a round wooden hut centered around an open fire.
Here, your guide prepares a warm camp-style meal—perhaps creamy reindeer stew, vegetable soup, or grilled sausages with Finnish bread—and serves hot berry juice, tea, or coffee to soothe your senses.
As you sit by the fire, your guide shares stories about Arctic traditions, Sámi beliefs, and local legends surrounding the Northern Lights, known in Finnish as revontulet—the “fox fires.”
Aurora Watching & Return
If conditions are favorable, step outside and look up.
